Early the next morning, I woke up stiffly. After I showered and dressed I went down for breakfast.'' Good morning, Zana.'' Mum greeted as she put a bowl of porridge and some milk on the table.'' Morning,'' I said, looking glum.
After breakfast, I said goodbye to mum and dad and went to catch the bus. At last, I entered my class and found my friends waiting for me.'' How was it?'' Samantha asked excitedly.'' How was what?'' I demanded.'' The book,'' Katherine said.'' Don't tell me you forgot!''
''I totally forgot,'' I replied, looking alarmed. I took it out and placed it on my table. And a piece of torn paper fluttered to the floor.'' What's that?'' asked Samantha.Katherine grabbed it and a wide look of horror filled her face.
We all looked at it and fell silent. It was written in RED ink, and it almost looked like blood. It said: '' Beware, young mystery solvers, there are several clues hidden in parts of this school, once you have solved what has happened to us long ago, you can help us give back what is rightly ours and we will return to you what you desire... PS: School Garden, Teacher's office, Toilet, Lab, Cafe.''
'' We've got to solve it no matter what.'' I looked up sternly.'' Right,'' Katherine agreed.'' Yes,'' Samantha said. We high-fived each other and agreed to meet at the cafe at recess to start searching...
