'' What is it about?'' Samantha demanded.'' I don't know.'' I said.'' I think it says something about the library,'' frowned Katherine.'' Do you think we should solve it?'' I asked.'' Well, I think we should,'' said Katherine.'' It would be more boring if we just ignore it.''
Samantha agreed.'' We could find some adventure in life...'' she said. Suddenly, the bell rang.'' The talk's over girls. See you in class.'' I said as I got up to go to class.
After the lessons, we went for recess. We ate some chocolate biscuits and cold lemonade. We ate quickly and headed for the library.
A librarian was at the counter to greet us.'' Would you like any help?'' she asked.'' No thanks,'' I replied.'' Where do we start looking?'' Samantha asked. Katherine looked around.'' Doesn't it say something?'' grumbled Katherine.
I pulled out the piece of paper to see if anything was written on the back of it but it only said something silly, like a poem:
'' Behind the back of the library,
A secret message will be hidden,
Try your best and see closely,
A black book of pure evil...''
'' Look at this, its just some dumb poem.'' I passed it to Samantha. She read it closely and gave a wild cry.'' The clue's right here!'' she wailed. Katherine read it and we rushed to the back.'' Find any black book you find!'' ordered Katherine.
I searched and searched and a black book caught my eye.'' Over there!'' I yelled. I grabbed it and we all cheered.'' Come on!'' said Samantha and we quickly left the library...
